My Journey with Chakra Cleansing & Meditation

I began my journey into meditation a couple of years ago. As hard as I tried to concentrate I just never got much out of it. I couldn’t focus and after a few minutes, I would lose my intention.

A few months ago I stumbled upon some guided YouTube meditation videos that lasted around 10 minutes. They were easy to listen to. For me, sitting in a chair in front of my computer with my eyes closed and fully relaxed seemed to be all I needed to find my meditation groove. You can find one of those videos here:

I worked with these meditations for several months. I learned that cleansing breaths were just that. One day I realized that I could tell a difference in how I felt on the days that I didn’t meditate. I was restless and my concentration seemed off. That was all I needed to realize that there was something to this meditation stuff.

My studies into the metaphysical realms led me to the discovery of crystals. I ordered my first set only two months ago from Amazon. Meanwhile, I spent all my extra time learning about the crystals I had purchased. This particular set is devoted to the chakra system.

I continued to meditate, but now I would hold a different gemstone in my hand during my sessions. All I can say is that my meditation seemed deeper and I felt better each day.

The more I learned about my chakras the more I realized that I had some that needed clearing. We all hold past hurts and threads to things that no longer serve us. What if you could let those things go? I was ready to give it a try.

I searched for a guided video that would help me clear and rebalance my chakras. Here is that video:

The first time I meditated to the video I felt bathed in a golden light. I had no idea that this was my own soul energy healing me from within. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated after my experience. After the session had ended I realized that a backache that had bothered me for weeks had disappeared. It was a humbling event.

The next time I meditated on the video I saw each of my chakra colors bubbling and filling me with healing energy. During this session, I held the crystal point in my palm. Once again I felt refreshed and renewed after my session. At night, I slept better too.

The benefits of meditation are well known. How and if you chose to develop a meditation practice is up to you.

This is my journey and I am happy to share my results. All I can tell you is that as an empath, meditation and the use of crystals have enriched my life. I hope it will for you also.

  1. I know many people who have a difficult time meditating. I often refer these people to yoga.

    1. I haven’t had the opportunity to be properly trained in yoga. It’s my understanding that the two go hand in hand. (I need old lady yoga, LOL) I meditate for almost a half hour a day now. I can tell a difference when I don’t do it. For me, it is the connection with the divine inside me. My mood improves and I am filled with energy. My journey has been a real awakening. Do you meditate?

    1. Yes. Yoga is huge. I haven’t tried that yet. The guided meditation is my favorite form. I can tell now if I haven’t meditated for a few days. I feel lousy! LOL! Experiment and find what works the best for you. ❤

  2. This is awesome, Colleen. I’m particularly interested in the chakra-clearing meditation. Can’t wait to try that one. Thanks for sharing it. (Unfortunately, I can’t see the other photos/videos.) Perhaps the fairies are trying to direct my attention to the one I *need* to see. 😉 ❤
