X = Magic

A HAPPY MEDIUM

I made the mistake of thinking this morning, (can any good come from this?! 😀 ), and – having thunk up a storm, I read my numerology for the day. Here it is:

*****************

DREAMS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF THE FUTURE

“Today’s Numbers are 7, 34, 4, 3

Monday, April 30, 2018: Your last 7 day of the month is a good time to contemplate and reassess your goals, desires, and emotions. Use today’s insightful, analytical, intellectual and meditative qualities to help clarify your perspective.” (Reading from http://www.numerology.com)

*****************

I don’t know about you, but when I hear the words analytical and intellectual, I can hear my creative brain yawning and saying “BORING!” very loudly.

My creative side and my questioning side are usually at odds with each other, which is weird because mathematics gives me the comfortable feeling that, if some magic day, somebody would just tell me what ‘X’ is, I would be able to make sense of this world.

I like to believe that I’m a totally creative person – that logic and reality really have no bearing on my existence – but I am LYING to myself. I love to fly, I love to dance, I love to try and find the magic in every second of the day – and see it in others. I should be a fire sign or a water sign or an air sign… BUT I’M NOT.

I am Taurus and my feet (especially my heals) are planted deep in the earth. In truth, I am as stubborn as a weed, seeking water, throwing up my leaves to the sky, and embracing the sun. My sign is the soil, and I am grounded.

When I first discovered numerology, I found that I was in a distressed state of knowing something was wrong with my life but not consciously knowing what it was.

SO…

Maybe it’s as simple as

x = MAGIC

  1. Magic is just a different form of logic. 😀 … what we do makes sense to us. One act logically follows another, and we know that what we do, works. We’ve all seen the results of our magical workings, our rituals, our adventures into different realms of awareness. 🙂

  2. Wendy, I wish I’d had the X = Magic formula when I was taking trigonometry in high school. It would have given Sister Felicitous yet another reason to wave her finger at me; not because she thought I was being flippant, but because I dared mention the word Magic 🙂 Great post, Sister ❤️
