Today, I am thrilled to share with you details of a crystal that I have recently discovered.
Chiastolite is a stunning crystal. It exhibits a cross pattern in a cross section. It may be brown or green with a black cross pattern.
The meaning of its name comes from the Greek word “chiastos” meaning cruciform or crosswise.
- Psychic protection from negative energies. The stone acts as a protective shield making you feel safe and secure.
- It is a stone of balance and harmony, a spiritually grounding stone which is an excellent tool for meditation as it helps you focus on the energies around you.
- It has strong Metaphysical properties and ability through meditation to connect with akashic records to discover past life information.
In theosophy and anthroposophy, the Akashic records are a compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future. They are believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane. There are anecdotal accounts but there is no scientific evidence for the existence of the Akashic records. – Wikipedia.
- Enhances problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Travellers’ stone to help protect you when you are travelling.
- A stone of prosperity.
It is an excellent crystal to consider for devotion, change, problem-solving, creativity and practicality.
Morever, it helps you to be strong in difficult times.
It is an excellent stone for helping us to understand what humans fear the most: death, aging and the processes of death.
Heath properties: helps fever, blood flow, blood pressure, milk in nursing mothers, and chromosome damage. Good for teeth, bones, and connective tissues.
Emotional/Spiritual properties: Healing energies (sign of the cross,) rebirth and Astral travel.
Best pairing: Chiastolite is best paired with Sugilite, Jet, and Lemurian Seed Crystal. These are all high vibration stones that can ground and protect you.
You can also combine it with Black Tourmaline and Black Obsidian.
As it is such a fascinating crystal I decided to feature Chiastolite in the prologue of the second book in the Curse of Time YA Fantasy series.
How is this second book progressing? It currently stands in the region of 70,000 words and I am very excited about how the novel is progressing.
