Yes, the heart speaks volumes. I love crystals so it’s no wonder that I created a magical fantasy brimming with crystals!
Today let me introduce you to Red Jade…
Astrological associations: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Libra
Jade crystals come in a variety of colours including green, orange, brown, cream, white, lavender, red, gray and black. Jade is beneficial for the skin, hair, lymphatic system, bones, joints/hips, spleen, bladder, heart, immune system, gallbladder, kidneys, muscles and female reproductive system. It is helpful for conditions such as: acne, fertility, PMS, asthma, bacterial and viral infections, eye disorders, high blood pressure and schizophrenia. This crystal is a go to stone for emotional balance, confidence and grounding. It helps counteract negativity and promotes dreams and dream recall. As well as these properties it brings connection to ancient civilisations, protection, inner and outer peace, and shamanic access to spirit worlds.
Red Jade is a fabulous stone which will enhance your physical vitality, passion, and strength, and it will effectively stimulate your life force energies.
It’s a stone which will enhance your insights, wisdom, knowledge, and creativity. It’s also considered to be a protective talisman and beneficial in achieving a great life.
It’s a powerful healing stone, with extra good luck and good fortune attached. It will also help with any difficulties you have with your personal relationships.
Chiastolite is an unusual crystal which plays a part in my current YA Fantasy WIP – The Curse of Time Book 2 Golden Healer.
Getting back to Red Jade, it is one of many intriguing crystals in my debut novel. Of course, the crystals in my novel are extraordinary gems, magical crystals conjured up by my imagination! They represent the light, or potential happiness of the protagonists within, whereas shadows represent darkness, deception and sadness. The Curse of Time is a novel of light and dark, so be prepared for both if you decide to pick up a copy.
Here are a couple of review quotes…
‘The story bravely tackles issues of mental health and self-harm, but in such a sensitive way that it can only help improve understanding.’ Book Review – Author Richard Dee.
‘There is a multi-layered mystery to be unravelled, spiced with supernatural hints and mixed with some very current issues such as family dysfunction and self-harming.’ Book Review – Blogger Samantha Murdoch.
