Learn more about Lammas or Lughnasadh and the history behind why pagans celebrate this holiday. ❤ Lammas, it's nobody's favorite holiday. Electronic Faeries

deadbutdreaming

During the past couple of years, there has been a burgeoning number of online sources discussing the faeries in all their guises. This perhaps represents a renewed interest in these supernatural entities that have been part of our culture for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. There appears to be an extended realisation that they have something important to add to our understanding of reality; whether it be through the lens of folklore or through a modernistic, esoteric view. There are many approaches to the subject matter. These range from the purely folkloric remit of discussing faeries as a fossilised remnant of our culture through to encompassing them into a phenomenology as extreme as alien abduction scenarios. Deadbutdreaming has always attempted to provide a holistic overview of what the faeries might be, but I am always reliant on, and grateful for, the excellent research and interpretations of others – folklorists, historians…

Mother Earth’s Feminine Energy on the move.

Sue Dreamwalker on the feminine energy and the winds of change

Dreamwalker's Sanctuary

Mother Earth provides and nourishes, and we are now beginning to understand that Our Earth Mother is a living, breathing entity.  When you take stock of mankind’s greed, we have done nothing but rape and plunder her resources, wounding, defiling, and disrespecting her, and ALL life that gets in the way of those who wish to control and rule.

Our Earth’s Mother Feminine energy is now birthing her own shift, as she raises her vibration to the next phase within the planetary alignments that happen within the cycles of the Cosmic Progression.

We go to School and learn the traditional ways of the world… And yet seldom do we learn from the school of Mother Nature from her own Earth School which she brings to us daily.

We  should look upon the Seasons and the elements, and the star cycles to how nature herself reacts to regain her own balance…

The Bear,TheWolf, The Eagle,The Hawk, and The Fox,  All mean something Special to me.. Click to see meanings of Totems

Drumming from the Ancients ways to the present day has been incorporated
into every culture. To drum is to connect to that Rhythm, that Heart Beat of
Life. The Drum has the ability to change you, literally it can alter your brain

#TarotTuesday – 7 of Wands

Tarot Tuesday from Jan Sikes.

Writing and Music

It’s #TAROTTUESDAY again!!

This week, the card I drew was the Seven of Wands.

The suit of Wands in the Tarot deck represents primal energy, spirituality, inspiration, determination, strength, intuition, creativity, ambition and expansion, original thought and the seeds through which life springs forth. The suit of Wands is ruled by the element of fire.

The Seven of Wands shows a man on top of a hill, armed with a wand in his hands, and fighting off six more wands drawing up from below. He appears to be defending his territory and his successes. However, notice that the man is wearing two different shoes which indicates that he may have been caught unaware or unprepared for battle, or he may be unclear of his own stance and opinion.

The Seven of Wands indicates that you’ve worked hard to get to where you are, but some people covet what you have…
